Connie Cooper has been in the home furnishing industry for the last thirty years. She studied interior design at Michigan State University before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design at Rhode Island School of Design.
Earlier in her career, Cooper designed floor covering, textiles and wall covering for manufacturers such as Allied Signal and Celanese Corporation, and later designed high-end, hand-screen wallpaper under her own name. A color expert active in The Color Marketing Group, she also advised manufacturers on trends in color and design. Cooper moved to Hong Kong with her family in 1991, and traveled extensively during her seven years abroad, collecting Asian arts and antiques. This perspective helped nurture the eclectic approach and broad perspective she has brought to interior design since her return.
Connie Cooper Designs specializes in producing client-centered residential work. With an imaginative eye, Connie Cooper guides clients in expressing their own taste rather than imposing a signature style.
